MAY 5-7    MERCURY SQUARE SATURN AND VENUS QUINCUNX PLUTO....Mental analysis, deep concentration and study, somber or mature perspectives and potential TRAVEL DELAYS.  With Venus in challenge aspect to Pluto, we are challenged to make adjustments as pressures provoke strong reactions.

MAY 7-8    SUN SQUARE NEPTUNE....Sensitivity, vulnerability and creativity are evoked.  These are good days to indulge in some type of relaxing retreat such as a walk on the beach or getting lost in a science fiction novel.  If you can't slow down....buy some flowers and listen to beautiful music after work.

MAY 8    NEW MOON AT 17 DEGREES OF TAURUS AT 4:47 AM (EDT)....New Moons are like the first day of school.... A new beginning ripe with possibilities.   With dreamy Neptune in challenge aspect to this lunation, energetic vibrations of transcendence, psychic impressionability or feelings of spaciness permeate our new plans.   A Taurus Moon is a grounded energy, rooted in physical and tangible assets such as the financial realm.  Taurus is also a sensual and aesthetic energy that enjoys beauty and peace as it is ruled by the love planet Venus.   In ancient times, humanity experienced the Age of Taurus, when the goddess and the bull were highly revered and respected.  Matriarchal peacefulness and agricultural abundance pervaded the lands.

MAY 8    CHIRON TURNS RETROGRADE AT 3 DEGREES OF AQUARIUS...Chiron symbolizes our capacity for self realization through a deeper understanding of our innate human woundedness, which can take a myriad of different forms.  We all have Chiron transiting somewhere in our natal birthcharts.  On a personal note, Chiron has been transiting my South-Node-Saturn conjunction at 4 degrees of Aquarius in my sixth house of health.  Coincidentally,  I have been dealing with a serious illness over the last 5 months, and have been forced to gain insights I never would have considered, had I not become ill.  To all individuals with planets in early degrees of Aquarius, Scorpio, Taurus and Leo....you too may feel Chiron's call to experience life situations which provoke you to ask why, adding new meaning to your lives. 

Chiron will retrace its steps back into late degrees of Capricorn where issues of authority and responsibility will resurface.  CHIRON WILL TURN DIRECT ON OCTOBER 6, 2OO5 AT 26 DEGREES OF CAPRICORN. IT WILL REENTER 0 DEGREES OF AQUARIUS IN EARLY DECEMBER 05.
