Hello to All,
Many Astrologers around the globe hoped and prayed that the Sun's entry into
fiery and impulsive Aries along with an out of bounds Mars would not coincide
with the beginning of war. Unfortunately, war has begun and we must all keep
peace in our minds and hearts. Peace begins at home. Home is not a place or a
country. Home is the place of truth within each and every one of us that is
peace. Affirm peace daily and remember the 100th monkey theory...one individual
can make all the differencee.
Astrologically speaking, the transiting Nodes will shift from the
Gemini/Sagittarius polarity to Taurus/Scorpio in mid April when Taurean
foundations are challenged to release so that new growth can occur. This
polarity highlights issues to do with will, fixity, tenacity, power and
possession. We will see these themes manifest politically in the greater
collective. Also, those individuals with planets in fixed signs may hear
destiny calling.
We start the month on April 1 with a NEW MOON at 2:20 PM at 11 degrees of ARIES
which symbolizes new life and a striving for light. Its astrological glyph
symbolizes the horns of a ram depicting its warrior energy which may either
manifest as initiative and courage or its shadow counterpart...the destroyer.
Please use this Aries lunation to awaken your pioneering spirit and boldness.
Transiting Mars is also conjoining Chiron today offering healing insight into
wounds around our blocked actions and intentions. What is stopping us from
acting on our heart's desires? Jupiter next stations direct on April 3 at 8
degrees of Leo charging our fixed planets with forward moving enthusiasm and far
reaching endeavors. Mercury, the planet of networking and communication, enters
earthy and grounded Taurus on April 5 which is time for down to earth thinking
and healthy common sense. Please note that MERCURY TURNS RETROGRADE later this
month on April 26 for three weeks, prompting reexamination of our thoughts,
ideas and theories.
The transiting Sun trines perceptive Pluto on April 9 and 10 positively linking
power to solar consciousness. Collectively, we may access our soul centered
power to dig deep, transform and benefit others. Also between April 10 and 13
transiting Mercury will form a T square aspect to the Jupiter/Neptune opposition
prompting thirst for knowledge and creative imagination. To those individuals
with relationship matters weighing heavily on their minds, take note of
transiting Venus in square to Pluto on April 12 and 13. Those individuals with
this natal aspect in their birthcharts often find themselves entangled in
compulsive and manipulative partnerships...extreme, seemingly karmic ties where
ultimately they are to experience the Scorpionic power of a deeply,
transformative love. Positively, this is a deep, abiding love that breaks through
all barriers to trust and fulfillment.
We will have a FULL MOON at 26 degrees of LIBRA On April 16 at 3:37 PM. This is
the right time to practice more honesty, cooperation and justice with ourselves
and significant others. The Libran energy either illuminates harmony and
balance or a lack thereof. This lunation will also square forthright Mars today
fostering mediation in response to irritable tempers or lack of self control.
Often, intense confrontations with others help us to see previously unrecognized
or denied aspects of ourselves. The next day on April 17, use the Sun square
Mars energy to take the initiative with courage, passion and spirit of
adventure. Beware of tempers as the negative polarity of Mars is rash and
disagreeable. Also, the Venus square to Saturn today can add a temporary chill
to communication matters. In a challenging aspect, Saturn either adds a firm
foundation or control factors to the relationship dynamics. Saturn also
requires us to face our fears and restructure our values.
The Sun enters reliable Taurus on April 20 for a one month period where we will
positively express more patience and staying power. Hopefully, we will not see
the negative polarity of Taurus manifest which is stubborn bullheadedness.
When we add Mars entering rebellious Aquarius to the planetary mix on April 21,
we are bridging inventive, humanitarian solutions with solidarity and
perseverance. Also on April 21, take note of Venus entering fiery and
courageous Aries where challenges and impulsivity create either warm hearted
passion or egotistical love. The attraction principle is now expressed directly
and spontaneously.
On April 22, the transiting Sun sextiles Uranus which is quite favorable for new
experiences, unexpected gains and exciting adventures. Lastly, we end the
month on April 29 with Sun in challenging aspect to Jupiter. Jupiter wants to
expand, promote, aspire and improve and is full of optimism and self assurance.
However, the polarity is wastefulness and imaginary greatness. The Moon is also
traveling through "me first" Aries today wanting to go full steam ahead...so
seek balance and enjoy.

Hello to All,
Astrologically speaking, we have many challenges ahead of us in the coming
months. March of 2003 begins with Venus entering humanitarian Aquarius and a
NEW MOON on March 2 at 9:36 PM as 12 Degrees of PISCES. There is no better time
than a Pisces lunation to collectively meditate and pray for peaceful
resolutions and angelic assistance. Pisces rules surrender, spiritual
purification and the channeling of spiritual power. From March 1-21 the planet
Mars, the God of war, is considered out of bounds (indicates extreme declination
N or S of celestial equator). This is especially potent on March 4 with Mars at
zero degrees of Capricorn in square to a fiery and impulsive Aries Moon. In
addition, transiting Mercury conjoins Uranus on March 4 suggesting sudden
events, insights and extremely radical positions or solutions. Also, March 6th
notes the return of Mars to the position it was on September 11, 2001. It is
possible that unusual military developments or protests will manifest at this
time. Mercury later shifts to Pisces emphasizing the interconnectedness of all
our lives.
On March 9-10 transiting Venus opposes Jupiter suggesting excessive concerns or
a general overdoing in all areas ruled by Venus. Also on March 10, the major
cycle of Uranus entering Pisces begins along with transiting Sun in square
aspect to Pluto, indicating power struggles and trusts issues which can engender
resentment from others. More positively, Sun/Pluto is the archetype of the
shaman...suggesting healing powers, magical knowledge and hypnotic abilities.
Those of you who have planets in Pisces, Sagittarius, Gemini and Virgo can
expect the call to individuate and challenge the status quo over the next
seven-year period while Uranus is in contact with your natal planets. The Sun
next squares Saturn on March 12 adding austerity, ambition and control factors
to the planetary mix. Also on March 12-take note of Venus conjoining Neptune,
which is an extremely sensitive vibration, calling for beauty, creativity,
solitude, compassion and transcendence. Between March 15 and 18 transiting
Mercury is in square to the Pluto/Saturn opposition prompting sharp perceptions
or sharp words. This is a good time to cultivate tolerance and kindness in all
communication matters.
The FULL MOON on March 18 at 5:36 AM at 27 degrees of VIRGO urges us to pay
attention to organization and detail yet also speak from our hearts
(Virgo/Pisces polarity). The Saturn/Pluto opposition is square to this lunation
inducing responsibility and sobriety. The Piscean Sun adds a much needed energy
of faith and acceptance. Next on March 20th we welcome the Sun's entry into
Aries representing the birth of a new season. We may be feeling ambitious today
with the Moon in intense Scorpio and Mars in industrious Capricorn. Be sure to
express your ideas on March 21 when Mercury in Aries conjoins the Sun promoting
great dialogue. Pluto next begins its long station retrograde on March 22,
which may stir up the Saturn/Pluto opposition issues from last year.
Lastly, Venus in Pisces joins Uranus on March 27 linking love and sociability to
independence, innovation and excitement. This is a day to break out and do
something fun or unusual. Venus linked to Uranus is electrical! This is a
great day for artists and writers to manifest some unique creations. The Piscean
vibration adds a dose of compassion to the fierce individuality of Uranus.
