FAMOUS CHART EXAMPLE - Albert
Einstein

ALBERT EINSTEIN
Albert Einstein, physicist and
philosopher, was born on
After Einstein's father's
electrochemical factory business failed, his family moved to
1905 - At the age of 26 years,
he set forth his theory of relativity which discards the concept of time and
space as absolute entities, and views them as relative to moving frames of
reference.
1915 - He perfected his
general theory of relativity E = Mc2 (energy = mass times the speed of light
squared).
1921 - He won the Nobel prize
for his contributions to theoretical physics, especially his work on the
photoelectric effect.
1950 - He presented his
UNIFIED field theory, which attempts to explain gravitation, electromagnetism,
and subatomic phenomena IN ONE SET OF LAWS.
Actually, from the 1920's on,
Einstein dedicated his life to working on a "grand unified theory of
physics". He wished to UNIFY concepts of gravity and
electromagnetism into a single mathematical formula...a passionate quest he was
not able to fulfill during his lifetime.
In his later years, Einstein
immersed himself into political activism where he joined other scientists in
efforts to prevent the future use of atomic weapons. He also strongly
denounced McCarthyism, bigotry, and racism. He was widely criticized for
his liberal and humanitarian views. He died on
Does his natal birthchart suggest a Uranian
genius with the mind of a seeker? Does it suggest themes of UNITY
consciousness and compassion? Can we see the profile of the mystic and
the philosopher? Einstein studied philosophy in great detail, and felt
deeply that science and mathematics should be balanced with spirituality and
the arts. He described them as, "different branches of the same
tree." The harmony of natural law, with its supreme intelligence,
inspired rapturous amazement in Albert Einstein. It became the guiding
purpose and principle of his life and work.
In general, note a Southern
hemisphere grouping of planets in Einstein's birthchart,
suggesting an early life theme of being controlled, victimized or swept up by
the circumstances in his life. With nine planets above the horizon, he
would most definitely make his mark in the world, as planetary emphasis in this
region of the birthchart often symbolizes great
involvement with the public, fame or notoriety. In addition,
with seven planets to the East, Einstein would not be a pushover. Rather,
he would happily rebel and defend his ideas, as several planets situated in
this region bestow the desire to direct ones own life instead of listening to
the dictates of others. With his natal planet, Jupiter in Aquarius, found in
oriental position, we know right away that innovative philosophies, the
need to prove a point and education will be a major force in his
life.
Einstein's Sun-Moon blend of
intuitive and mystical Pisces and philosophical and opinionated Sagittarius, echoes
a philosophical mind, seeker of truth, generous heart, and adventurer with a
strong social awareness. Compassion and creative imagination are linked
with moral integrity in this water and fire combination. Einstein's
Piscean Sun makes an almost exact conjunction to his midheaven
(important and public angle in the birthchart),
denoting recognition in the career arena for Piscean endeavors and
attributes. Piscean qualities of UNITY will be powerfully projected to
the world. In addition, his Sun makes a harmonious trine to his intuitive
and emotional Cancer ascendant (public persona), and sextiles
Pluto, blending power, persuasion and intuition with a mystical bent.
His Sagittarian Moon, ruler of
his chart, is found in the sixth house of work and service. Albert
Einstein needed (Moon) to work and perfect his vision (sixth house) in an
atmosphere that would fulfill his visionary and far reaching ideals
(Sagittarius).
A wise astrologer in
Einstein's day would have been able to see the powerful suggestion of
publicly noted brilliance in his birthchart.
This is because the ruler of his third house (mindset and networking of
ideas) exactly conjoins the midheaven (public status
and recognition). In addition, we find the planet Uranus, symbolizing
ingenious ideas and revolutionary concepts, also in his third house (mindset),
opposing Jupiter and squaring the powerfully perceptive planet Pluto.
This powerhouse T square configuration suggests a rebellious and ambitious
mindset that seeks to break the mold (Uranus square Pluto) in far reaching and
visionary (Jupiter in ninth house) areas of unity consciousness (Pisces).
So why was he considered to be
lacking in intelligence in childhood? This is an easy question to
answer. Those individuals born with Mercury (reasoning, conscious mind)
conjoin Saturn (delays, patience, endurance, seriousness, etc.) often develop
their intelligence like a fine wine...it takes a while, but the outcome is
outstanding! Children born with aspect are often judged prematurely!
They just take longer to develop and express their fine intelligence.
They may be absorbing everything around them very accurately,
though in slower motion. If they are supported with
confidence and patience, they will thrive when the time is right.
Albert Einstein's Mercury
in bold and courageous Aries conjoins Saturn in his tenth house of
career, destiny and public accolades. Saturn adds discipline,
dedication and patient endurance to his fiery and trailblazing mindset.
Furthermore, his natal Mars, ruler of this conjunction, is exalted in
prestigious Capricorn. His natal Mars also trines intense and shrewd
Pluto, adding further qualities of energy, passion and powerful willpower to
this planetary signature.
Albert Einstein's
brilliant ideas reverberated way beyond conventional science influencing
modern culture from painting to poetry. He also spoke very highly of
astrology when he once said, "Astrology is a science in itself and
contains an illuminating body of knowledge. It taught me many things, and
I am greatly indebted to it. Geophysical evidence reveals the power of
the stars and the planets in relation to the terrestrial. In turn,
astrology reinforces this power to some extent. This is why astrology is
like a life-giving elixir to mankind."
The philosopher and mystical
qualities Einstein exhibited during his lifetime are symbolized by his angular
Piscean Sun and his Neptune-Chiron conjunction in Taurus in the eleventh house
of social and group consciousness, suggesting that his Chironian
wound will be played out on the universal stage. This important
conjunction forms a challenging T square configuration to his North and South
node destiny points, driving him on tirelessly to achieve his
destiny. His natal Neptune, ruler of his tenth house of career, conjoin
Chiron, is the archetype of the mystic who seeks to bridge the gap between
matter and spirit. Think about
Other notable individuals with
this particular aspect are Edgar Cayce, Michelangelo, Joseph Stalin, Alan Page,
Marie Stopes and Guy Ballard.
In conclusion, Einstein's
seventh house North Node in Aquarius and disseminating Moon birth phase, guided
him to share his passionate and progressive ideals with the public, through his
gifts of supreme intelligence (Node sextile Mercury
and inconjunct Uranus in third) and innate
spirituality (Node inconjunct Neptune-Chiron).
The following midpoint pictures corroborate his energetic and inspired
imagination: Mercury =Jupiter-Neptune (inspiration, active imagination),
Saturn =Uranus-Neptune (need for recognition), Ascendant= Mercury-Neptune
(special awareness), Pluto=Sun-Mars (force, ruthless application of energies),
Pluto= Mars-midheaven (zeal, promotion, publicity,
power, the big picture, ENERGY). Please note all midpoint pictures are
from Noel Tyl's Synthesis and Counseling in Astrology
Albert Einstein once said.."HE WHO CAN NO LONGER PAUSE TO WONDER AND STAND
RAPT IN AWE IS AS GOOD AS DEAD, HIS EYES ARE CLOSED."
